I have always had a passion for doing creative things. I was an art major in high school, were I earned many awards for my work. I graduated from Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts with an associates degree in Interior Design. I am currently the website designer and project coordinator for Flash Avenue.
My hobbies include: photography, redecorating our house, adding to our 400+ collection of blown glass Christmas ornaments, working on our family website and of course scrapbooking.
I began scrapbooking in 2001 when we bought our first house.
I wanted to document the whole experience from looking for
a house, creating floor plans for each room, moving day
and then the remodeling of each room. I was hooked on scrapbooking.
I graduated from the Creative Keepsakes Scrapbook Design
University in 2004 and have taken many other classes to
stay on top of the current techniques.
My most recent scrapbooks are my favorite of all. I am documenting several
of our Disney
World trips. I think scrapbooking
vacations is my favorite. We vacation every year on the Outer Banks
and it has been so fun over the last 17 years to see how our girls have
grown and how the area has changed. When we look at our beach vacation
scrapbook we are able to easily reminisce about the wonderful vacation
memories.
I was inspired to start Leaders in Scrapbooking, when everyone who looked at my books raved over how creative they were and how they are not creative or do not have time to scrapbook. The scrapper for hire was born. I decided to share my passion and creativity with those who wanted to have their own unique custom scrapbook or give one as a gift. We do all the work for you, you give us the photos and memorabilia, provide the supplies and we create a customized scrapbook for you with your budget.
Being a huge Disney fan and DVC owner I love to scrapbook Disney stuff. I have helped several families preserve their Disney vacation memories, by creating for them a custom Disney scrapbook.
